Will Burton has never really fit in at school. At best he gets ignored, at worst, beat to a pulp. So when blonde cheerleader-type Charlotte Barnes asks for Will’s help in putting together a rock/ska group for a massive band competition, he isn’t quite sure what to do with himself. As he works with Charlotte, he begins to develop the confidence that comes from being really good at what he does, and a fellow outsider of the female persuasion begins to look at him in a whole new light.
